Swedish vocals, English vocals
International relevance: *
Little known band (even to Google), assumably from
Trelleborg in the Skåne region, with this live album probably being
their only release. Moderately enthusiastic applause between tracks
suggests they were a bit popular locally but it's not surprising they
failed to gain wider acclaim. ”A Part of Sweden” (subtitled ”Which Is Our Own”) is mostly less than mediocre merseybeat influenced pop, inadequately performed with weak
vocals. Songs sung in Swedish are socially concerned but musically
only album opener ”1943” has a very faint bluesy progg touch. Its biggest progg merit is being listed in ”The Encyclopedia of Swedish Progressive Music”. Do not break your back to find this one.
