An extreme rarity much appreciated by
fans of heavy rock with traces of major bands like Black Sabbath and
Deep Purple. Lots of intense guitar work courtesy of Björn Uhr and
loud drumming by Anders Berge. All the elements to attract collectors
are there but I think ”Made in Rock” is just as overrated as
Epizootic, and for the same reasons. The surface is right with all
the typical requested moves but the songs are lacking in originality
and content. This is just another run of the mill mid-70's hard rock album too
void of musical merits to substantiate its position as a much sought-after classic.
The album was engineered by Hazze Östlund of Swedish 60's pop band Hep Stars.
The album has been released with the pre-Solid Ground Scam Records 45 by 4 Ever, both sides of Solid Ground's 1975 single, plus a handful of tracks recorded in 2006 with a different singer.
