International relevance: *
Cantalucha was a musical faction the
Sweden-Cuba friendship association and the title – ”songs to
Cuba” – would be enough for a review. This albums consists
entirely of songs with a Cuban theme, most of them written by Cuban
songwriters with some of them translated into Swedish. Needless to
say, the tone is political and jolly – file under 'Long Live Fidel'. It's well played, but if you want to listen to Cuban music,
please turn to authentic Cuban music and don't waste your time with
this.
